TICKR Run è il cardiofrequenzimetro ideale per i corridori. Misura importanti metriche di corsa, come la cadenza, oscillazione verticale, tempo di contatto con il terreno e registra i tuoi allenamenti sul tapis roulant al coperto. Dotato di tecnologia dual-band Bluetooth Smart e ANT+, si collega alla maggior parte degli smartphone e orologi GPS. I bought this almost a month ago to supplement my HR watch monitor, because I wanted more precise and responsive monitoring, and it has made a huge difference! Not only that, but it's greatly helped me work on my cadence, which I didn't even realize was way too slow. Several months ago, a friend who runs marathons suggested I start this plan based on heart rate reserve. For Christmas, my wife and I gave each other the Vivoactive HR monitor, a great wrist monitor, fantastic for all day use, tracking steps, etc. However, I wanted even more precise and responsive monitoring, so I researched chest straps, and the Wahoo family of straps consistently came out on top. I bit the bullet and bought the TICKR Run. It was so easy to set up with my phone and with my watch. I had to look up the watch instructions, but it's incredibly simple - start an exercise and then hold the watch close to the strap, and you're synced! After that, it's automatic each time. After using it for a month, I have to say that it's one of the best purchases I ever made! I love running again now, and knowing my heart rate, with the audible warnings and the ability to sneak a peak to check my stride, have really improved my runs. Thanks, guys, and best of luck!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent hr monitor. Bought to get the connectivity to the kickr smart trainer. Works in that regard decently. However, keeping it snapped on can be finicky. If you bump it or move it at all, it unsnaps. Fairly sensitive after a warm up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sporadic run metric tracking at best Purchased this to improve my running economy by utilizing metrics. Cadence measurements were OK. I Checked using a metronome and it was close ~5 spm on the low side. Other metrics like smoothness, oscillation etc recorded about 30-50% of time - even with all settings correct. I worked with their technical service to fix the settings but still a problem. No indoor track usability. Metrics need GPS (doesn't work indoors) or treadmill setting to work - if or when they do. My fit bit can estimate distance run with good accuracy why not this device? Some HR spiking noted but not as much as my 3 yr old Wahoo HRM. Bottom line, don't buy this and count on it to give metrics when you need them. For what I purchased it for I am very disappointed after having been using it for more than a month. Just by the HRM and figure out another way to record running metrics. The Wahoo iOS apps are useless also. Wish you had a scrolling line to display data at a particular time during a run. No editing functions in the app either. Wahoo has a long way to go if they want to catch up with other fitness tracking companies.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Second unit I like this HRM. My latest purchase was a replacement after a previous TICKR Run failed after a solid year+ of use - it started under-reading by 50%. New batteries didn't help, so I retired it and started using a Garmin pod with the Wahoo TICKR strap. New Run is good. They have changed up the strap - textured the contact pads a bit. Readings look good. Battery is easy to change (much better than the Garmin pod), and I don't seem to be getting any spikes (like was happening to a HRM USA branded dual band pod). Disappointed that the base TICKR doesn't work right reliably with the Garmin Edge head units. Yes, this is more likely Garmin's issue, but they are kind of the big dog in GPS cyclocomputers. At least the Run isn't much more expensive than the base TICKR, and both are competitively priced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice HRM, App is not quite there. I got this HRM for 2 reasons; to synch with my Garmin 910 using Ant+ but be able to synch with my phone when I don't want to use that. It doesn't 'push' the Ant+ data like a couple of the other HRM straps do, but I decided that was a price ($20 more) not worth paying. On the whole I'm happy with the strap. It's comfortable, and it's reading performance has been excellent in about a dozen different runs/rides - no 'spikes' that I'd get with my Garmin strap. The extra it offers in terms of telemetrics (oscillation, stride rate) are really good too. Try as I might, I can't get the 'double tap' to function properly (it's meant to perform a task, such as change track). The Wahoo App that accompanies the strap is quite good. There's lots of interesting data like stride, and telemetrics alongside your heart rate. There's some useful data there, but you can't really get into the data like you can with a desktop app: you might notice a spike in your heart rate, or degredation in your telemetrics - but other than a rough diagramatical representation (it was near the middle, the last third etc) you can't tell when or what may have caused it. It needs a desktop app. So - close, but no cigar. I have some other quirks with the audio playing when I tell it no, but on the whole, pretty good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from conductivity and indicator lights I bought TICKR a month ago. I have used HR monitors for running, biking, and sea kayak racing since the 1970's. I seem to have poor conductivity and over the years I have been getting poorer and poorer results. I'm now having excellent results with the ticker and wahoo Fitness app on my Iphone 5.
